you want only OEM shock? because Bilstein are really better
KYB Ultra SR are good too, but I prefer Bilstein B6, and it' possible with OEM springs
about brake pads, Carbone Lorraine are very good (RC6) and Pagid are very good too (but more expensive again)
exactly, the noise when you break at low speed is

or
I don't know like you feel things, but me, I take this with the smile

Hello Michaël
Of course I want B6 or B14, but now it's little bit expensive for me. (B6 are around 600 Eur+livrasion to republique Tchéque -because B6 and B14 for Williams are offered only in France, it's special Bilstein product only for french customers)
ad. OEM Renault Piece Shocks...I know they are cheap...but problem for me is, when I ask Renault, they are not able to answer me, who produce these OEM shocks now!
I know before 20-25 years these shocks for Williams were produced by Kayaba.(Kayaba=OEM)
When Renault offers OEM now, why Kayaba don't produce front shocks for Williams now as well?? In online catalogue KYB front shocks are missing!
I am asking myself what give Renault Piéces to me, when I buy OEM? Renault does not produce shocks, they have sub-distributors like KYB, Bilstein and for example deCarbon in past
In my mind I have these scenarios:
1.Renault can sell me very old, original KYB from Renault warehouse, and these shocks can be very old I think...that sounds bad.
2.Renault can sell me any noname "shit" (when gear knobs for Williams are made in Turkey, shocks can be made anywhere, so it can be also anything bad, i think)
Im not against Turkish people, but Id like only kebab from them, not car parts
3.Renault "call to Kayaba" and they will produce pair front, and pair rear shocks for me (its sounds very unbelieveable

)
Those is three reasons, why I dont believe Renault OEM shocks...but maybe my misgiving is wrong.
And this is reason, why I thinking about Record Maxigaz SP, Kayaba Ultra SR with magic cambers and reason why I thought about B6/B14 (but they are expensive now for me)
...about brake pads
I heard racing pads are not good for normal street use, because when they aren't heat up, they brake bad...excellent braking with racing brake pads is possible only when they are heat up. I heard this, but I dont know if it's truth. Noise during braking in low speed is ok for me

I think that's not a problem...I don't have my Williams for daily use.
